Bob The Drag Queen Announces ‘This Is Wild! World Tour’

After emceeing Madonna’s global “Celebration Tour,” Bob The Drag Queen has her own headline tour to do. She’s unveiled the routing for a North American trek that starts in September to go along with previously announced gigs in Australia.
Bob The Drag Queen, who is known for her unabashed confidence and humor, has had quite a year. In addition to touring with Madonna, she “launched the cosmetics company BOMO Beauty with Monét X Change, started her own unique clothing line, House of Bob, released her debut EP ‘Gay Barz’, and dropped her latest comedy special Woke Man In a Dress on YouTube and streaming services.”
Bob won season 8 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in 2016 and went on to play multiple roles for shows on HBO, Netflix, Sony Tristar, MTV, and VH1 including “High Maintenance” and “A Black Lady Sketch Show.”
The upcoming tour, “This Is Wild! World Tour,” which will feature a blend of stand-up comedy, crowd work and music, starts in Australia with a July 18 show in Brisbane at QPAC Concert Hall.
The North American leg launches Sept. 18 show at the Crest Theatre in Sacramento, California.
Stops include Seattle’s Moore Theatre, Chicago’s Vic Theatre, Toronto’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre, New York’s Town Hall and Orlando’s Plaza Live. The last gig in North America is Nov. 15 at Las Vegas; Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

Reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice include three shows with Madonna at Brooklyn, New York’s Barclays Center Dec. 13-16 that sold 37,781 tickets and grossed $7,774,698. Bob’s 2022 headline tour included a Jan. 4 show at Ferguson Hall in Tampa, Florida, that sold 595 tickets and grossed $27,951.
