Chris Stapleton; Dua Lipa; Tyler, the Creator; blink-182; Pretty Lights; Sturgill Simpson; Leon Bridges; Khruangbin; Kehlani; Carin León; Reneé Rapp – the list goes on and on. Fans will be able to see these incredible artists come together this fall when the multi-genre extravaganza Austin City Limits Music Festival returns to Zilker Park in Austin, Texas, Oct. 4-6 and 11-13. C3 Presents promoter Amy Corbin curates the ACL Fest lineup in collaboration with her team, which includes Margaret Galton, Bobby Clay and Charles Attal.
While C3 Presents’ festival properties continue to expand with the addition of five new events this year spanning from Tempe, Arizona’s Extra Innings to Bridgeport, Connecticut’s Soundside, Corbin is holding down the fort booking the behemoth ACL that is expected to attract an estimated 450,000 people over the two weekends.
Corbin — who got her start in the business nearly 25 years ago answering phones at Charles Attal Management — also serves as the South Region President, U.S. Concerts at Live Nation. She and her team promoted thousands of shows from clubs to theaters to arenas last year, and shares that this same team “flawlessly executed more than 20 stadium shows” ranging from classic rock to pop to Latin, within just two months.
For Corbin, what stands out during that time is not only the number of shows — but how mental health was made a priority.
“I’m proud of how we were able to support our teams throughout by employing more tools to support the team’s mental health,” she says. “We called on Touring Career Workshop’s All Access Program to provide their services free of charge at some of the shows in the midst of the season. The program was open to anyone working on the show or at the venue and was a great resource for our team that got us through an incredibly busy time.”
As she previously told Pollstar when she graced the cover of Pollstar’s 2022 Impact 50 issue, along with C3 Presents co-founders Charles Attal and Charlie Walker, “[taking] care of the team that supports C3 — that’s my number one mission.”
