Grammy-Winning Group Bacilos To Perform 6 U.S. Shows This Year

On the heels of releasing a new album, Pequeños Romances, Grammy Award-winning group Bacilos announced they will be embarking on a six-city run in the U.S. in October.

Loud And Live, one of the largest international entertainment companies that boasts an impressive roster of Latin artists, will promote the brief tour, which kicks off Oct. 3 at Palladium in New York City. Bacilos will also visit the Fillmore Miami Beach At Jackie Gleason Theater, Hard Rock Live Orlando, Houston’s White Oak Music Hall and Boch Center – Shubert Theatre in Boston before wrapping up Oct. 13 at Lincoln Theatre in Washington, D.C.

Tickets for the American shows are now on sale and can be purchased via Ticketmaster.com.

“Bacilos has managed to fuse Latin American folklore with rock and pop to create a unique sound,” Nelson Albareda a Grammy Award-winning producer and founder and CEO of Loud And Live, said in a statement. “They are an example of tenacity, talent and charisma that has made them global idols.”

The Miami-based band comprising Colombian Jorge Villamizar and Brazilian André Lópes achieved massive success with their third album Caraluna, which earned them a Grammy and Latin Grammy. Their hit single from the LP, “Mi Primer Millón,” won the Latin Grammy for Best Tropical Song.

Bacilos is managed by Magnus Media and booked by Magnus Talent Agency. The band played headline shows in the U.S. and Mexico last year, including a sold-out concert at Paradise Rock Club in Boston on May 10 that grossed $41,288 off 933 tickets sold, according to Pollstar’s Boxoffice.
