Lineup Announced For A Big Beautiful Block Party; Life Is Beautiful On ‘Pause’ 

Organizers of Las Vegas festival Life Is Beautiful announced that they’ve “hit pause” on the event for 2024 and meanwhile, the LIB team is introducing A Big Beautiful Block Party, with a lineup featuring Justice, Peggy Gou, James Blake, Thundercat and more. The event is described as “a unique return to our roots, a more close-knit, and affordable experience in a vibrant new neighborhood.”

A Big Beautiful Block Party is set for Sept. 27-28 at 324 S. Main St. in the arts district of downtown Las Vegas. The statement from the LIB team adds that the new festival features “an intimate atmosphere, no overlapping sets, and lower ticket prices … all with a short walk from beloved spots like the Arts District, Symphony Park, East Fremont, and the Fremont Street Experience.”

The lineup also includes LCD Soundsystem, Jamie XX, Jungle, Toro Y Moi, BadBadNotGood, Neil Frances, LP Giobbi, Empress Of, John Talabot and Fifi. 

The general onsale begins Thursday, June 27 at 10 a.m. PT, with two-day passes starting at $199. Fans can register at http://lifeisbeautiful.com to get a code for a presale that starts on Thursday at 9 a.m. PT.

As for Life Is Beautiful, the statement goes on to say: 

“For a number of reasons it was appropriate to hit pause on the Life is Beautiful Festival this year. We are hard at work reimagining and evolving the festival experience for the sake of you, the fans, and the incredible community that surrounds us. This event is not intended to replace the festival. For now, it gives us the opportunity to continue the annual tradition of gathering in Downtown Las Vegas to uplift one another, to express ourselves, and to connect. In time, the two will coexist.” 

Penske Media subsidiary Rolling Stone acquired a majority interest in Life is Beautiful in 2022.
