“Disco” Donnie Estopinal and Patrick Tetrick announced the grand opening of SILO Dallas following three years of renovation. Tiësto is set to open the venue on Sept. 19 and 20, with tickets on sale July 11 at 10 a.m. CT.

“We have a fan community who is hungry for live entertainment all of the time,” Estopinal said in a statement. “Even with the success of our major festivals like Lights All Night, Shaq’s Bass All-Stars Festival, Ubbi Dubbi and So What?!, we haven’t had a venue in Dallas that we can control and can call home. SILO solves that.”

Both Estopinal and Tetrick preserved the building’s historical structure, and is set to hold up to 3,145 attendees. The audio is powered by 100,000 watts of D&B sound system.

“We found the only building in Dallas that had no parking lot, no roof, no electrical, no plumbing, no HVAC – and it’s kind of on Holy Ground,” Tetrick said in a statement. “The community’s response to our vision has been overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to making SILO Dallas a key player in the city’s cultural and economic landscape.”

The building was first constructed by Johnson Grain Company’s Delmo Johnson to serve as a grain storage facility, with Johnson later dreaming it could be turned into a cultural hub. Under Estopinal and Tetrick, the building is neatly centered within the city’s Design District and aims to fulfill Johnson’s hopes.

The venue announced shows from Illenium, RL Grime, Galantis, Eric Prydz, Camelphat and more in its opening months.
