Goose Ringing In The New Year With 2 Shows At Austin’s Moody Center

On the heels of unveiling fall dates, jam band Goose announced two Year’s Eve shows, “A New Year’s Formal Affair,” taking place at Moody Center in Austin, Texas, on Dec. 30 and 31.

Tickets for the two-night stand in Austin go on sale this week, with presales beginning July 17 at 10 a.m. local time. Fans can sign up at goosetheband.com to receive access to the unique presale code. VIP and travel presales will also be available on July 16 at 10 a.m. local time followed by a venue presale that starts July 18. The general onsale begins July 19 at 10 a.m. local time.

The Connecticut-based quintet recently announced its 11th annual Goosemas shows at North Charleston Coliseum in South Carolina on Dec. 13 and 14. Goose’s fall headline tour with three nights at MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston from Sept. 2-4. They will also perform three shows at Chicago’s The Salt Shed from Sept. 11-13 and at Andrew J Brady Music Center in Cincinnati from Nov. 8-10. Goose will have two-night stands at ExploreAshville.com Arena in Ashville, North Carolina; The Fillmore Miami Beach in Florida; St. Augustine Amphitheatre in St. Augustine, Florida; and The Anthem in Washington, D.C.

Goose, who graced the cover of Pollstar in 2021, have been consistently touring for the past few years with headline concerts and festival performances, and this year’s trek is their most ambitious yet. The band recently performed three shows at Fox Theatre in Atlanta and Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Englewood, Colorado, shows that are available for livestreaming via nugs.net at goosestreams.com. One of the band’s most successful showings in 2023 was a three-night stand at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium From March 30 to April 1 that grossed $1,095,737, according to Pollstar’s Boxoffice.

Goose is represented by Karl Morse and Ethan Berlin of Arrival Artists in the U.S., Asia, Mexico, Africa, the Middle East and New Zealand and by WME’s Brian Cohen and Andy Nees in the U.K., Europe, Australia and South America. The band is managed by 11E1ven Group.
