Austin’s ACL Live Hires Kendall Unbehand As Talent Buyer

Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater (ACL Live) has named Kendall Unbehand as talent buyer, the downtown Austin, Texas, venue announced July 18. The role will see Unbehand leading live music programming at 350-capacity music club and event space 3TEN, as well as supporting the programming at the 2,750-cap ACL Live.

Unbehand is a seasoned industry professional who has experience in touring and marketing with the perspective of having worked in the agency world and with the world’s biggest promoter. She recently spent two and a half years at the Austin office of the FIMI Group, where she oversaw talent buying for corporate and private client events. Before that she worked for four and a half years at the Austin-based C3 Presents as a talent buyer and business development manager, handling multiple casino venues and managing client private events. Her resume also includes roles at Live Nation Entertainment and ICM Partners.

We are confident that Kendall will continue to elevate our programming and create memorable experiences for our guests.”

Unbehand added, “After working in Austin’s entertainment scene for the past few years, I am thrilled to accept my new position at ACL Live. Austin’s vibrant music scene is truly unique, and I look forward to curating unforgettable experiences in such a dynamic venue with a rich history.”

An announcement explains that Unbehand will work closely with venue leadership and the corporate artist relations team to uphold “the venue’s history of high-energy shows while strategically programming more intimate experiences at 3TEN to showcase artists and connect with fans.” 

Recent reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice for ACL Live include a May 4 show by The Teskey Brothers that sold 2,504 tickets and grossed $146,234.
