Activist Artists Management Hires Karly Brecher

Activist Artists Management has hired Karly Brecher as an artist manager and she is based out of the Los Angeles office, the company announced July 18. Brecher works with The Pretty Reckless as well as other artists on the firm’s roster.

Brecher previously held roles at Scooter Braun Projects/HYBE and Laffitte Management Group, working with artists including Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Backstreet Boys, Usher and Chris Cornell. She graduated from Syracuse University’s Bandier Program with a degree in Recorded and Allied Entertainment Industries and a minor in Marketing.

“Karly brings a decade of experience and a proven track record handling day-to-day responsibilities and branding for an eclectic group of global artists,” Activist Founding Partner Bernie Cahill said in a statement. “We are thrilled to welcome her to our music team.”

Activist Artists Management has offices in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, and Atlanta. The company’s clients include The Lumineers, Bobby Weir, Dwight Yoakam, the Grateful Dead, Dead & Company (co-manager Azoff/Moir), Leif Vollebekk, The Pretty Reckless, Young the Giant, Brittney Spencer and Michael Franti & Spearhead, as well as actors, screenwriters, Oscar-winning media company Lion Forge Animation (Hair Love), and Human Rights Watch.
