Karol G makes her first appearance on LIVE75 since performing in Europe with her “Mañana Será Bonito Tour” in June and July. Box-office results from 14 concerts at nine arenas in eight countries earn the Latin star the “Hot Shot” classification as the touring artist with the highest chart debut. Her overall number of sold tickets in Europe totaled 196,757, an average of 14,054 per show which earns the No. 15 ranking.
She sold the most tickets at MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal, with two sold-out performances July 7-8. Together the concerts grossed $3.47 million and drew 34,859 attendees, the highest among the venues on the schedule. With just one more venue on her schedule, Karol G will wrap the “Mañana Será Bonito Tour” with a final run of shows at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid, Spain. The last four concerts will take place July 20-23.
Kenny Chesney moves up one position to secure the No. 1 ranking on LIVE75 based on 14 performances during his “Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour” that launched in Tampa, Florida, in April. This week marks the country star’s second appearance atop the chart in 2024, having previously earned the No. 1 slot in the May 13 issue.
His current top-ranked appearance follows performances at eight stadiums and six amphitheaters which moved a total of 483,793 tickets and added $53.8 million to the tour’s overall gross, now at $91.3 million with just over one month remaining on the tour.
Chesney’s best-attended stadium, among the 14 venues in this week’s chart tallies, was Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh that hosted 60,126 fans on June 1. Then, among the amphitheaters, Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana logged the highest ticket count with 23,983 sold on June 20.
Taylor Swift remains at No. 1 on the Artist Power Index based on stadium performances in seven European markets during the singer’s trek through the continent with her “Eras Tour.” Included were three-show runs at London’s Wembley Stadium; Aviva Stadium in Dublin; and Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam.
Also on the Artist Power Index, Post Malone has the top debut, scoring the No. 16 ranking based on his concert at “INDYCAR Race Weekend” at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa on July 14. One of four artists who performed at the event, he was joined by Kelsea Ballerini who also appeared on the same night, while Luke Combs and Eric Church played sets there on July 13.
Jason Aldean also makes his debut on the Artist Power Index after playing the first three July dates on his “Highway Desperado Tour.” He performed on the 11th at Empower FCU Amphitheater at Lakeview in Syracuse, New York, followed the next evening with a show at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York. Then, on the 13th, he played at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey.
LIVE75’s “Heavy Hitter,” with the highest gross average on the chart, is Billy Joel who averaged $6.61 million per show based on ticket sales from recent concerts at two stadiums and one arena.
His attendance for a solo headlining appearance at T-Mobile Park in Seattle drew a crowd of 39,600, and another event at Denver’s Coors Field moved 44,988 tickets. Then, his monthly performance at Madison Square Garden in New York drew 18,570 fans.
