120% Increase In App Downloads: Lytham Festival UK Integrates Ticketmaster
Ticketmaster has launched an app integration with Lytham Festival, taking place on the Fylde coast in England, UK, thereby merging all ticketing functionalities into the festival’s app.
Through the Lytham Festival app, fans can now discover and securely purchase tickets, as well as view, transfer, and list tickets for resale. “The integration resulted in a 120% increase in downloads of the Lytham Festival app,” according to Ticketmaster.
It also led to “deepened engagement with fans” at this year’s Lytham Festival edition, which went down July 3-7, with a lineup led by Madness, Courteeners, James, and this week’s Pollstar cover star, Hozier.
Lytham is the first festival in the UK to integrate Ticketmaster into its app with more to follow, though the company declined to reveal any more at this point in time.
Outside the festival world, Ticketmaster is also integrated into the apps of the Academy Music Group of venues; Co-op Live; as well as Scarborough Open Air Theatre, which is programmed by Cuffe & Taylor, who also run Lytham, and are part of Live Nation.
