Travis Scott Extends ‘Circus Maximus’ International Dates, Adds MetLife Stadium Show
Travis Scott remains in sicko mode as the rapper announced more dates to his record-breaking “Circus Maximus World Tour,” adding shows in Latin America, Australia and New Zealand later this year.
In addition to international concerts, Scott announced a one-night-only performance at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Oct. 9.
Scott, who concluded his U.S. run in February before starting the sold-out European leg in June, will travel to Chile to perform at Estadio Bicentenario La Florida in Santiago on Sept. 7. Other Latin American stops include Buenos Aires, Argentina’s Movistar Arena; São Paulo’s Allianz Parque Stadium in Brazil; Coliseo Live in Bogotá, Colombia; Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan; and Mexico City’s Esplanade Estadio Azteca on Sept. 21.
Following his special show in New Jersey, Scott then visits Australia for three shows before wrapping up at Eden Park in Aukland, New Zealand for one show on Oct. 31.
The presale for Latin American dates begins July 24 followed by the general onsale on July 25. For ticket information, visit the artist’s website, travisscott.com.
Australia and New Zealand tickets will be available on July 29 via presales followed by the general onsale on Aug. 2.
Tickets for the MetLife Stadium show go on sale on July 24 at 10 a.m. ET via an artist presale. Additional presales will run throughout the week leading up to the general onsale, which begins July 26 at 10 a.m. ET. Fans can also visit vipnation.com for VIP packages, which may include premium tickets, access to the preshow lounge, a merchandise item and more.
The North American leg of the “Circus Maximus Tour” grossed $85.5 million, according to 34 headline reports submitted to the Pollstar Boxoffice, and the first 11 European and United Kingdom dates have surpassed $27 million in grosses with more than 270,000 attendees. Scott became the first American hip-hop artist to move 200,000 tickets in a year across three shows in Italy.
