Electric Castle has concluded its 10th edition with its highest attendance so far, welcoming up to 68,000 daily attendees on the grounds surrounding the 15th-century Bánffy Castle in Transylvania, Romania.

Across five days, July 17-21, more than 200 artists performed across 10 stages. The lineup was led by headliners Chase & Status, Bring Me The Horizon, Massive Attack, Rema, Sean Paul, and Paulo Nutini.

The bill also featured Dj Shadow, Nina Kraviz, Khruangbin, Marc Rebillet, Bonobo (Dj Set), Dj Diesel (Shaq), Priya Ragu, Skream & Benga, Kenya Grace, Genesis Owusu, and many more. Queens of the Stone Age had to cancel their appearance due to frontman Josh Homme requiring emergency surgery.

Aside from its 24-hour music program, Electric Castle offers tons to discover on site, including fashion markets in the castle, hot air balloon rides, bungee jumping over the campsite, basketball and volleyball courts, a comedy club, tlaks, and BBQ cookouts.

When it all gets too much, the lakeside forest offers ample space to just relax and recharge.

Tudor Costinaș, Electric Castle’s communications director, commented, “Electric Castle has been and continues to be more than just a music festival. It’s about creating a community and an experience that resonates with people long after the festival ends. We are grateful to all the artists who made enormous efforts to reach the audience, despite airline delays, to the participants who understood our efforts, and to the partners who made this year’s edition so special”

Tickets for Electric Castle 2025 are on sale. A five-day pass starts at €89 ($96).
