blink-182 Cancel Two Shows Due To Illness
blink-182 announced the cancellation of their shows in Kansas City and St. Louis “due to illness,” according to a post shared on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Unfortunately, due to illness we are unable to make it to Kansas City and St. Louis,” the band wrote in their statement. “If you purchased through Ticketmaster, refunds will be issued automatically. If you purchased from a third-party reseller (Stubhub, Seatgeek, Vivid Seats) etc, please reach out to your point of purchase. We are sorry and hope to see you next time.”
The band is currently touring North America, and performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago last weekend. Highlights from their recent dates include a sold-out show at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon, which grossed $2.2 million, a sold-out night at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on July 6 which grossed a whopping $5.7 million, and a sold-out performance at San Diego’s Petco Park on June 30 which grossed another $5 million.
Their next scheduled date takes place on Aug. 12 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
The band is booked by CAA’s Darryl Eaton. Travis Barker is managed by Digital Arts & Sciences Inc.’s Lawrence Vavra and Sophie McNeil. Tom DeLonge is managed by Opera Ghost’s Jimmy Throgmorton. Mark Hoppus is managed by Gus Brandt and Jake Lowery at Cardiff Giant.
