Anderson .Paak Announces Toronto Show At HISTORY

Anderson .Paak has lined up a special show in Canada that’s scheduled two weeks ahead of the launch of his “The Malibu Tour.” The Grammy Award-winner, producer, songwriter, artist and director will be joined by his band, The Free Nationals, and special guest Maurice Brown.  

The show takes place Sept. 5 at Toronto’s 2,500-capacity HISTORY. The general onsale started today (Aug. 14) at 10 a.m. 

Brown is a Grammy Award-winning American jazz trumpeter, producer and composer who was formerly a member of Tedeschi Trucks Band.

As previously announced, “The Malibu Tour” will feature .Paak playing his 2016 Grammy-nominated album Malibu in its entirety. The album includes the singles “The Season / Carry Me,” “Am I Wrong,” “Room in Here” and “Come Down.”

The tour launches Sep 18 in Bend, Oregon with a gig at Hayden Homes Amphitheater. Stops include Hollywood Bowl, Red Rocks, Merriweather Post Pavilion and more before wrapping up October 13 in Atlanta at Lakewood Amphitheatre.

.Paak is repped by WME’s Caroline Yim and managed by Full Stop. He most recently has been working on his collaborative projects, including releasing Why Lawd? with Knxwledge in June as the second LP from NxWorries. In 2021 .Paak and Bruno Mars released the debut album from their superduo, An Evening with Silk Sonic.

Reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice for .Paak include a June 2019 show at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California that grossed $659,202 on 12,196 tickets.
