Billie Eilish, FINNEAS Jump To WME From Wasserman
Billie Eilish, one of today’s most successful touring acts, and FINNEAS, her brother, songwriting partner, producer and co-performer, have left Wasserman Music and signed with WME for representation in touring, a source from the artists’ team confirmed to Pollstar. WME had already repped the duo in film and television since Jan. 2023 and the move now has the agency working with Eilish and FINNEAS in all areas of entertainment.
“While grateful to their former live booking agents at Wasserman, Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell have opted to have film, TV and music handled by the same agency, WME, moving forward,” a spokesperson from Eilish’s team told Pollstar when reached for comment.
“Billie and FINNEAS are generational talents, and we are thrilled to build upon our work together as they continue to grow and expand in their multifaceted careers in film, TV and touring,” added a rep from WME.
Wasserman Music declined to comment for this story.
Eilish’s most recent “Happier Than Ever Tour” was a massively successful trek grossing nearly $86 million off 55 headline shows reported to the Pollstar Boxoffice, including six sold-out shows in June of 2022 at London’s The O2, and grossed a total of $10,153,108. She also played six shows in 2022 at the Kia Forum — three in April during the opening leg of the tour and three in December after the tour wrapped, which were dubbed her Hometown Homecoming shows. Together they grossed $11.6 million from 84,000 sold tickets.
Eilish, from early in her career when she was still playing clubs, was represented by Tom Windish and later Sara Bollwinkel, when the duo worked for Paradigm, which was acquired by Wasserman in 2021. Mike Malak booked her shows in the United Kingdom.
Wasserman Music’s roster still includes such superstar acts as Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Kendrick Lamar, Chappell Roan, Drake, Fred again.. and Imagine Dragons among others.
Eilish is co-managed by Danny Rukasin and Brandon Goodman of Best Friends Music.
Eilish and FINNEAS recently performed the 2024 Summer Olympics Closing Ceremony from a beach in Los Angeles, assisting in passing the torch from Paris to SoCal. The Grammy-winning duo will embark on the “Hit Me Hard And Soft: The Tour,” a Live Nation-promoted global trek that kicks off at Centre Videotron in Québec City, Canada, on Sept. 29.
