Desert Daze Sets Daily Lineup

Eclectic festival Desert Daze announced the daily lineup for this year’s edition, set for Oct. 10-13 in Lake Perris, California.

Singer-songwriter Alex G and bass god Thundercat top the bill Friday, following performances by, among others, hyperpoppers 100 Gecs. Jack White will headline Saturday. Reunited prog icons The Mars Volta and indie folkers Fleet Foxes will also perform. Cigarettes After Sex will headline the final evening, along with performances from Liz Phair and De La Soul.

The opening ritual in The Outer Space – the Thursday Night Welcoming Committee – will feature White Fence, English Teacher, Peel Dream Magazine, Cumgirl8, Psymon Spine and more; the Closing Ceremonies will feature a performance by Desert Daze co-founder Phil Pirrone’s collective jjuujjuu along with many of their friends.
