Polo G Plots 26-City ‘Hood Poet Tour’
On the heels of releasing his first album in three years, Polo G announced he’s ready to go back on the road later this year with “The Hood Poet Tour 2024,” a 26-city trek that runs from October through late November.
“I’ve always put my heart into my music, and now I’m bringing that energy to the stage,” Polo G said in a statement. “This tour is for the fans who’ve been with me since day one and for everyone who’s been part of this journey. I can’t wait to share this experience with y’all.”
VonOff1700, Scorey and TwoTime will be supporting all shows, and Skylar Bratt and Diany Dior will be featured on select dates. The Live Nation-promoted tour kicks off at Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium on Oct. 24 and includes stops at The Midland Theatre in Kansas City, Milawaukee’s The Eagles Ballroom, The Fillmore Detroit, REBEL in Toronto, The Webster in Hartford, Citizens House of Blues Boston, Echostage in Washington, D.C., Austin’s Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater and The Midway in San Francisco before wrapping up at the Wiltern in Los Angeles on Nov. 29.
Presales begin Aug. 21 and will run throughout the week leading up to the general onsale, which begins Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets can be purchased at polocapalot.com. VIP packages will also be available via vipnation.com and may include a meet and greet and photo opportunity with the rap star.
Polo G will be supporting his latest album Hood Poet, which dropped on Aug. 9. The rapper hailing from Chicago recently performed a headliner in his hometown at United Center on June 1 and also performed a sold-out show at Place Bell in Laval, Quebec, on Dec. 15, 2023, which grossed $221,079 off 3,646 tickets.
