Dreamshop Management Signs Pop Singer Hemlocke Springs
Dreamshop Management, which is owned by music industry veteran Heather Kolker, announced the signing of Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Hemlock Springs, who is coming off supporting the European leg of Doja Cat’s tour.
Springs, whose real name is Isimeme “Naomi” Udu, went viral on TikTok with her hit song “girlfriend” in 2022, and she received critical acclaim for her 2023 debut EP Going…Going…Gone!
“We could not be more excited to have Hemlocke Springs join our Dreamshop roster,” Kolker said in a release. “Naomi is a brilliant artist who appeared on the scene with a huge bang and is only just getting started. We are thrilled to be a part of her exciting journey ahead.”
Hemlocke Springs has played solo shows in Los Angeles and Europe, including a sold-out intimate performance at Paradiso in Amsterdam that grossed $2,955 off 210 tickets, according to Pollstar’s Boxoffice. The 25-year-old singer who grew up in North Carolina has also played some festivals, including Salt Lake City’s Kolby Block Party, The Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama, and All Things Go in Columbia, Maryland.
Kolker launched Dreamshop Management in July 2023 and is the manager of MUNA, a queer indie pop band that has toured with Taylor Swift, boygenius and Harry Styles. Dreamshop also manages Katie Gavin’s solo projects, producer Naomi McPherson and producer and writer Josette Maskin alongside Day to Day Manager Megan Manowitz.
Prior to starting the management firm, Kolker was an agent at Little Big Man and then at Paradigm, where she helped launch the careers of Tame Impala, MGMT, The Drums, Atlas Genius, Francis and the Lights and Of Monsters and Men. She left the booking world after a dozen years and pivoted to management, working at Mick Management before launching Dreamshop.
