Adele To Take A Break Following Las Vegas Residency
Following the wrap-up of her Las Vegas residency this November, Adele announced she plans on taking an extended break, the singer announced during her recent date in Munich.
“I have spent the last seven years building a new life for myself, and I want to live it,” she said at the concert. “I want to live the new life that I have been building.”
Adele has often retreated from public life in-between her album cycles, with her most recent record, 30, having been released in 2021. She’s performed extensive residencies in support of the album, including her “Weekends With Adele” dates in Las Vegas. She’s represented by September Management’s Jonathan Dickins and is booked by WME worldwide.
Her Las Vegas residency began on Nov. 18, 2022, and will have run for two years by the time Adele takes her break. Fans who wanted to see her perform her album 30 needed to travel to Vegas to catch the show, as Adele opted out of touring for this album cycle. She did perform 10 dates at Neue Messe München in Munich, Germany, throughout August for European fans to catch the show.
