Sting Adds North American Dates, South American & European Leg To ‘Sting 3.0’ Tour

“Sting 3.0” is now officially a world tour, after The Cherrytree Music Company and Live Nation not only added more dates in North America, but also a UK/European, and South American leg.

On this tour, Sting is accompanied by virtuoso guitarist and longtime collaborator, Dominic Miller, and dynamic drummer Chris Maas, know from his work with Mumford & Sons, Maggie Rogers, and others.

Pollstar has updated Sting’s itinerary below. A few specials shows, notably the ones with Billy Joel, are highlighted for being special shows, not officially part of the “Sting 3.0” tour.

Sting’s European dates include a few major festivals, including the UK’s Isle of Wight and Latitude festivals. Sting’s last boxoffice reports submitted to Pollstar from overseas was the June 18 concert at Musgrave Park in Cork, Ireland, promoted by Live Nation/Gaiety Investments (MCD Productions), selling out 14,997 tickets at a $1,143,854 gross.

Past co-headlining shows with Billy Joel in North Amercia stand out from the Pollstar Boxoffice. They sold out Petco Park in San Diego, CA, April 13, moving 39,600 tickets for $10,541,736; Their joint star power also attracted 54,540 ticket buyers to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL, Feb. 24, grossing $13,218,628.

Sting is repped by Christoper Dalston and Rob Light at CAA; he is managed by Martin Kierszenbaum of Cherrytree Music Company.
