Queens of the Stone Age have announced new dates for shows in the U.S. canceled earlier this summer due to Josh Homme’s health concerns.

The desert rock giants will play a double in Boston and single shows in Cincinnati, Ohio; Madison, Wisconsin; and Chicago in June 2025.

The band also canceled festival appearances in Bridgeport, Connecticut; Memphis, Tennessee; and Mexico City.

The band abruptly canceled their European dates in July as Homme flew back stateside for an operation. In August, the band announced his convalescence would take some more time.

“Josh has been given no choice but to prioritize his health and to receive essential medical care through the remainder of the year,” the band said in a statement posted to social media Aug. 23.

The nature of Homme’s surgery was not disclosed. In 2010, he underwent leg surgery that left him bed-ridden for more than three months. He was also diagnosed with cancer in 2022, though he said in 2023 surgery was successful at treating it.
