Gang Of Four Announces Final North American Tour
Gang of Four, the English band who melded punk, funk and dub and became one of the seminal bands of post-punk, will tour North America one last time.
The band’s current iteration — Jon King, Hugo Burnham and David Pajo — will set out on an expansive trek in celebration of their farewell as well as the 45th anniversary of their debut album Entertainment!.
The tour begins April 20 at Boston’s Crystal Ballroom and includes stops at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC; Nashville’s Basement East, Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown, California, and more. It wraps at the Music Box in San Diego May 29.
Tickets will be on-sale starting 10 a.m. local time Oct. 4 here.
On a 2022 of the U.S., the band sold-out The Independent in San Francisco March 21, grossing $16,225 on 550 tickets, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
The band is booked by 33 & West and managed by Aaron Moore at Mother City Limited.
