Fontaines D.C. Bring Rocking ‘Romance’ To America With 2025 Tour
Irish rockers Fontaines D.C. are returning to the United States in 2025, in support of their fourth album, Romance, and a summer of sold-out shows across Europe and North America.
The “USA Tour 2025” kicks off at Showbox SoDo in Seattle, Washington, April 17 and includes stops Mission Ballroom in Denver; Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater in Austin, Texas; Marathon Music Works in Nashville; St. Andrew’s Hall in Detroit; The Anthem in Washington, D.C.; and winding down at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on May 16.
Tickets can be purchased through the band’s website beginning Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. local time.
Fontaines D.C. have earned a global reputation for their blistering live shows with Romance first brought to life in front of huge crowds at Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds Festivals before a string of sold-out shows in Europe and the UK.
The band recently announced that their upcoming show at London’s Finsbury Park, scheduled for August 2025, has also sold out of all 45,000 tickets.
Represented by CAA in North America and Toutpartout Agency in Europe, Fontaines D.C. averages 1,770 tickets sold per show for a gross of 86,072 according to box office reports submitted to Pollstar.
“We have placed a lot of importance on energy and on our shows,” Fontaines D.C. drummer Tom Coll said of the band’s explosive performance in a Pollstar cover story. “Sometimes we feel it a little bit more viscerally than on the records, which I think is a good thing. It’s important to have some disparity between you, your record of sound and your life. We definitely bring a lot of energy. It’s that human thing for those who want to find it; that special thing between a band and audience that you can’t record.”
