Following weather cancelations due to Hurricane Helene, Slayer is announced as next year’s Louder Than Life festival at the Highland Festival Grounds at Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky, on Sept. 18 to 21.

“We can’t wait to welcome fans back to finish what we started this year and celebrate the return of Slayer,” Danny Wimmer of Danny Wimmer Presents said in a statement. “Our team is hard at work finalizing an incredible lineup that we can’t wait to reveal this winter. It’s going to be epic, and we can’t wait to see everyone back in Louisville next September.”

For those who had passes for 2024 and were affected by the weather cancellation on Sept. 27, single-day pass holders are eligible for a full refund or a credit applied to the purchase of 2025 passes. Weekend pass holders can receive a 25% refund or credit applied to 2025 passes.

Last year celebrated 10 years of Louder Than Life and 150,000 fans remained in attendance.
