My Morning Jacket & Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats Announce Nugs.net Livestream Event To Benefit HeadCount

Ahead of tonight’s “Eye To Eye” tour kick-off in Wilmington, North Carolina, My Morning Jacket and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats have announced that the bands’ stop at Nashville, Tennessee’s Ascend Amphitheater will be a special Nugs.net livestream event to benefit nonprofit HeadCount.

The livestream takes place at Ascend Amphitheater on Sept. 18 and 19, with single-night livestreams starting at $19.99, and a discount for two-night bundles. The pro-shot livestreams are available at nugs.net/headcount in 4K or HD, and fans can watch live or on-demand on nugs.net with unlimited access through Sept. 29. Fans will have 48 hours of on-demand replay after starting playback. Net proceeds benefit HeadCount, the “leading nonpartisan, non-profit organization dedicated to harnessing the power of music to register voters and promote participation in democracy.”

The “Eye To Eye 2024” tour features equal-length sets from MMJ and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, with the bands switching off the performance order with each show. The co-headline trek includes stops at Charlotte, North Carolina’s PNC Music Pavilion; Jacksonville, Florida’s Daily’s Place; Philadelphia’s TD Pavilion at the Mann and Raleigh, North Carolina’s Coastal Credit Union Music Park.

Along with working with HeadCount, the bands have partnered with nonprofit REVERB to reduce the environmental footprint of the tour. Today’s announcement explains, “In addition to a comprehensive tour sustainability program and fan Action Village at each show, the bands will be supporting REVERB’s climate portfolio which funds projects that measurably reduce greenhouse gas pollution, address climate justice, and directly decarbonize the music industry.
