London’s legendary Roundhouse announced the launch of Roundhouse Three Sixty in April 2025, “a bold and visionary new festival,” according to the announcement.

Set within the iconic walls of the Roundhouse, located in London’s Camden district, the festival will present “music and culture from every angle, with seasoned global talent appearing alongside the artists and creators of tomorrow” across an entire month, April 1-30.

The entire Roundhouse site will “serve up a mix of music, spoken word, theatre, visual arts, podcasts, and club nights—with each event amplifying the voices of today’s most vital and unapologetic artists,” according to the Roundhouse Three Sixty website, where tickets are now on sale.

The Roundhouse is a true London landmark. Originally built as a roundhouse, a railway turntable, in the middle of the 19th century, it fell into disuse before World War II, and opened as a performance space in the 1960s. It’s been open in its current form since 2006. Early performances included icons such as David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, Patti Smith, Pink Floyd, The Doors, and The Ramones

Today, the Roundhouse is committed to giving young people access to creativity, working with over 10,000 11-30 year olds over the past year. Many artists, who began their journeys at the Roundhouse, have achieved global success, like Little Simz, Raye, or Academy Award winner, and Roundhouse associate artistic director Daniel Kaluuya, and the festival’s name, Roundhouse Three Sixty, alludes to that.

Roundhouse Three Sixty is “merging the best of the venue’s previous festivals In the Round Festival, The Last Word Festival, and Roundhouse Rising Festival,” the press announcement continues.

Confirmed performers include BAFTA winner Jack Rooke’s “Show Hole,” a club-cum-cabaret-cum-comedy night, Sherelleland, a cheap-ticket rave curated by British DJ Sherelle, and Roundhouse Song Circle with performances by singer songwriter Tom Odell and Roundhouse resident artists.

The festival also intends to engage young people in paid work opportunities, offering invaluable experience in event production and the creative industries. “Thousands” of free and subsidised tickets starting from £5 will be available for 18 to 30-year olds.

Jack Rooke, who will perform at Roundhouse Three Sixty on April 12, commented, “2025 marks 15 years since dweeby teenage me got off the 31 bus every Wednesday evening to do a 12 week arts project at The Roundhouse. Back then it was my genuine solace, escape and chance to see I could actually pursue a career as a creative. Over a decade later, that building still feels like home.

“I’ve been able to experiment, develop, fail and succeed in various performance spaces as an emerging artist, so now I’d like to come back and try a different experiment in the main venue – a cabaret-cum-comedy-cum-club night. ‘Show Hole’ is not a reinvention of the wheel, it is just a huge party celebrating creatives trying something different, in a space that holds that ethos at its very core.”

Marcus Davey, CEO and artistic director at the Roundhouse, commented, “It is extremely exciting to be announcing Roundhouse Three Sixty – a brand new festival of music and culture from every angle of London life. Uniquely, Roundhouse Three Sixty will see world-class artists, emerging talent and young people from every walk of life come together for one month to perform, share and showcase their amazing work. The festival embodies our core purpose as a charity amplifying our work with over 10,000 young people each year and it will create transformational artistic experiences that bring people together. We can’t wait to welcome you next April.”
