Day After Day Productions Signs Bow Wow For Worldwide Representation, Prepares For ‘The Millenium Tour 2025’ With Trey Songz & Omarion
Day After Day Productions has signed rapper and actor Bow Wow for worldwide touring representation, the latest addition to an expanding roster that most recently added Bobby Brown, Lil’ Kim and Teddy Riley, agency founder and CEO Seth Shomes announced today (Nov. 20).
The signing of the former “106 & Park” host coincides with the announcement Bow Wow will join R&B superstars Trey Songz and Omarion for “The Millenium Tour 2025,” produced by the Black Promoters Collective.
“My team and I are excited to partner with Seth and the whole DADP team, our visions aligned from day one and I look forward to our continued growth,” Bow Wow said in a statement.
Shomes added, “Bow Wow’s undeniable talent and charisma make him a perfect fit for Day After Day and the passion we have for our clients. We’re honored to represent him and build upon his unique ability to create unforgettable live experiences for his fans around the world.”
Bow Wow was discovered by Snoop Dogg at age 6 in 1993, making his debut on the Doggfather’s breakthrough Doggystyle album. Five years later, he signed with Jermaine Dupree’s So So Def Recordings as Lil’ Bow Wow. He had hits in short order with two albums, Beware of Dog (2000) and Doggy Bag (2001), reaching Nos. 10 and No. 11, respectively, on the Billboard 200. He dropped the “Lil’” to become Bow Wow in 2003.
This lead to a string of platinum and gold albums and six No. 1 singles, making him the youngest solo rapper to reach that status.
Since then, Bow Wow grew his career not only in music but in film and television, with parts in films including “Like Mike,” “All About The Benjamins,” and “The Fast And Furious: Tokyo Drift,” among others. He also landed hosting duties on BET’s “106 & Park” in 2013 until the show ended the following year.
On the live side, Bow Wow most recently embarked on a full arena tour in 2022, when he headlined an outing featuring Mario, Keri Hilson, Ying Yang Twins, Travis Porter, Crime Mob and others. Tour highlights included stops at Kia Forum in Los Angeles, Oakland Arena in Oakland, California; MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas and Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Prior to that, he toured arenas in support of Omarion, with whom he’ll reunite on “The Millenium Tour 2025” to take audiences on a nostalgic journey to the golden age of 2000s R&B and hip-hop.
