Snoop Dogg Tapped To Close Out Amazon Music Live’s 3rd Season
Amazon Music Live, a livestreamed concert series broadcast after NFL Thursday Night Football, has delivered live entertainment from all genres this year, and the program will wrap up its stacked third season with yet another star. The streaming giant announced that 16-time Grammy-nominated hip-hop legend and entertainment icon Snoop Dogg will headline the season finale of Amazon Music Live after Black Friday Football on Nov. 29.
The West Coast rapper will perform his biggest hits as well as beloved deep cuts on the Amazon Music Live stage in Los Angeles. Snoop Dogg will also give fans a sneak peek of music from his upcoming album Missionary, which drops next month. The episode will air on Prime Video and Twitch at 7 p.m. EST.
Amazon Music is celebrating the artist’s upcoming performance by inviting fans to listen to the REDISCOVER Snoop Dogg playlist on its streaming platform which features the rapper’s influential hits.
Snoop Dogg will cap what has been a star-studded third season for Amazon Music Live, which has featured Jelly Roll, Big Sean, Halsey, J Balvin and Gunna. TWICE is slated to become the first K-pop act to perform on the series tonight. The group recently concluded a global tour and will release their 14th mini-album, STRATEGY, on Dec. 6 via JYP Entertainment/Imperial/Republic Records.
Since 2022, Amazon has taken advantage of NFL viewership to highlight new music from some of the biggest artists in the business and previous seasons of Amazon Music Live featured stars like Ed Sheeran, Feid, Peso Pluma and A$AP Rocky. Viewership more than tripled in the second season compared to the first, and Amazon will look to keep that momentum going in AML’s third season with a lineup of performers from various genres.
Artists on Amazon Music Live perform in front of a live audience in LA and fans can watch the show exclusively on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, a platform popular among streamers, at 9 p.m. PT on Thursdays. This season was sponsored by Nissan Kicks.
Tickets for each event are available via live events company DICE, by invitation only. Select customers in the LA area have access to an exclusive presale for each performance.
