Shaky Knees Moves To Atlanta’s Piedmont Park Sept. 19-21
Shaky Knees Music Festival is making a couple of significant moves in 2025, according to a post on the fest’s Instagram account. It moves from its usual May weekend to Sept. 19-21, and relocates to its “new home” at Atlanta’s Piedmont Park, from its former location at the city’s Central Park.
Produced by C3 Presents, Shaky Knees has become a fixture on Atlanta’s annual concert schedule, and last year featured headlining performances by Foo Fighters, Noah Kahan and Weezer.
Music Midtown, another long-running Atlanta festival, has taken place for years in September but has struggled since the COVID shutdown and other challenges. The festival was forced to cancel its 2022 edition, but it returned to Piedmont Park in 2023 with P!NK, Billie Eilish and Guns N’ Roses headlining. Music Midtown did not return in 2024.
Lineups and performers were not announced. A representative for C3 Presents directed Pollstar to the Shaky Knees website for confirmation and future updates.
Shaky Knees was founded in 2013 by Tim Sweetwood. C3 Presents is also founder of some of the world’s largest festivals, including Lollapalooza, See.Hear.Now, Innings Festival and many more.
