Avril Lavigne To Keep Playing The Hits, Adds 2025 Tour Dates

Sk8er Bois and girls who missed out on Avril Lavigne’s sold-out “Greatest Hits Tour” this year can rejoice, for the pop-punk queen is extending her run into 2025 with shows in amphitheaters and arenas across the U.S. and Canada.

The eight-time Grammy-nominated singer will open the 2025 leg of her tour at Canada’s Avenir Centre in Moncton, New Brunswick, on May 18. The routing for the Live Nation-promoted trek includes stops at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia; New York’s Madison Square Garden; Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, Ontario; St. Louis’ Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre; MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida; Burgettstown, Pennsylvania’s The Pavilion at Star Lake; and Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, New York. The shows will feature Simple Plan, Fefe Dobson and We The Kings as special guests on select dates.

Lavigne’s run includes festival performances — All Your Friends Festival in Burls Creek, Ontario, and When We Were Young in Las Vegas — as well as a stadium show at Hershey, Pennsylvania’s Hersheypark Stadium.

Tickets will be available via an artist presale starting Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. local time, and additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale, which begins Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. local time. Prior to embarking on her major tour, Lavigne was featured on the cover of Pollstar and talked about the staying power of the pop-punk and emo scene that experienced great success in the 2000s.

“I think this genre resonates with the younger audience because of the themes of rebellion, individuality, and not taking the world for as it is,” Lavigne told Pollstar. “These themes are ultimately timeless because I think that is how people originally resonated with my music. Overall, I love seeing the scene thrive and seeing newer artists take it and make it their own.”

The Sk8ter Queen Supernova played sold-out shows across the country, including one at the iconic Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, on May 30 which grossed $1,252,209 off 13,402 tickets, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports. She also performed at major United Kingdom and European festivals like Glastonbury, Rock For People in Hradec, Czechia and Madrid, Spain’s Madcool Festival.
