Barry Manilow To Hold ‘Lifetime Residency’ At Westgate Las Vegas: Exclusive
Following a blockbuster “final concerts” farewell tour across the U.S., legendary crooner Barry Manilow has accepted a “lifetime residency” at his longtime Las Vegas concert home, the Westgate Resort & Casino, where he’s played a record more than 630 shows and will continue with Holiday Shows in December.
“Barry Manilow is a generational artist and a dear friend,” Westgate Founder & Executive Chairman David Siegel said in the announcement. “Over the years, we have built a personal and professional relationship that is truly special, and I am honored to offer Barry the opportunity to perform at Westgate for a lifetime.”
Performing regular residency dates at the resort’s International Theater since 2018, Manilow had already been confirmed for more in 2025. His regular shows at the 1,582-capacity venue have seen him surpass Elvis Presely’s record of 636 shows.
“It’s been an incredible journey performing at the International Theater,” Manilow said in the announcement. “David Siegel and the Westgate team have been like family to me, and I am deeply grateful to have the opportunity to call Westgate home for the rest of my career.”
The Westgate, which opened on the northern end of the Las Vegas in 1969 as The International Hotel, has recently undergone $300 million in renovations, including new timeshare villas, restaurants and room amenities.
While the Westgate announcement means Manilow will play no other venue or shows in Las Vegas, it is presumed the crooner could potentially do another tour or festival dates elsewhere.
His farewell tour saw full houses and rave reviews at arenas across the US, including Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Moody Center in Austin and many others.
