Cody Jinks Embarking On ‘Hippies And Cowboys Tour’ in 2025
Cody Jinks is back on the road in 2025 with his “Hippies and Cowboys Tour,” a 23-date trek promoting his upcoming project, Cody Jinks Sings Lefty Frizzell, a tribute album honoring the honky-tonk legend with covers of his fan-favorite tracks.
The tour, produced by Live Nation and FPC Live, kicks off March 14 at Mahalia Jackson Theatre of Performing Arts in New Orleans and includes stops at Wheatland, California’s Hard Rock Live; Greek Theatre UC Berkely in Northern California; Morrison, Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre; The Met Philadelphia presented by Highmark; Baltimore’s Pier Six Pavilion; The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City; and Boston’s Leader Bank Pavilion. Jinks wraps up his run Sept. 20 at Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre in Youngstown, Ohio.
The multiplatinum outlaw country singer has sold more than 2 million tickets, according to a Live Nation release, and the 2025 tour will feature Tanner Usrey and Shane Smith & The Saints opening on select dates.
On top of a good show, Jinks wants to provide an inclusive environment for all fans.
“It’s a really divided time in our nation,” Jinks said in a statement. “But we’ve always been the type of band where we’ve wanted everybody. And so next year, it’s going to be a statement of, ‘Man, we’re just an American band.’ That’s what we are. We’re a honky-tonk band. We’re American music. You have country rock, rhythm and blues, all in one. We’re hippies, we’re cowboys — and we’re everything in between.”
Tickets will be available starting Dec. 3 via a fan club presale, and additional presales will run throughout the week leading up to the general onsale, which begins Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. local time at codyjinks.com.
Jinks is repped by Mike Krug of WME. The country singer supported Luke Combs’ stadium tour this year and also played headline shows at amphitheaters across the country, including a performance at Mechanics Bank Theater in Bakersfield, California, on May 19 which grossed $210,979 off 2,295 tickets, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
