Singer-songwriter and actress Sharon Van Etten is teaming with The Attachment Theory to hit the road in 2025 and promote their debut album, which drops on Feb. 7 via Jagjaguwar.

Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory will kick off their first tour at The United in Westerly, Rhode Island, on Feb. 1. It will be the first of three shows in the States before the band embarks to Europe, where they will play at Rockefeller in Oslo, Norway; Astra Kulturhaus in Berlin, Germany; Paradiso in Amsterdam; Netherlands; and London, England’s Royal Albert Hall. They return to the U.S. on April 24 to perform at Atlanta’s The Easter, and the routing includes stops at Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, Washington, D.C.’s 9:30 Club, Brooklyn Steel in New York, Denver’s Ogden Theatre and Vogue Theatre in Vancouver, British Columbia, before wrapping up at the iconic Wiltern theater in Los Angeles.

The band will play a special home state headline show at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey, on Feb. 4. She Keeps Bees, Nabihah Iqbal and Love Spells will serve as supporting acts on select dates.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 13, at 10 a.m. local time. For more information, visit sharonvanetten.com/tour.

Van Etten has had a successful career as a solo artist with six albums, but her venture with The Attachment Theory — which includes Jorge Balbi on drums, Devra Hoff on bass and vocals and Teeny Lieberson on synth, piano, guitar and vocals — adds a new dimension to her sound as well as her songwriting. Their debut album, Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory, was a collaborative effort that strengthens Van Etten’s catalog. The band recently released a video to their new single, “Southern Life (What It Must Be Like).”

As a solo headliner, Van Etten has performed at venues across the world, and she recently supported Mitski for her concert at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Van Etten had a successful showing at The Salt Shed in Chicago, Illinois, in August of 2022 which grossed $294,784 off 4,440 tickets.

Van Etten is repped by Creative Artists Agency’s Kevin French in North America and by James Alderman of Free Trade Aency in other territories. Zeke Hutchins of Mick Management manages the artist.
