EXIT Turns 25
Serbia’s main event EXIT is gearing up to celebrate 25 years of unforgettable moments, July 10-13.
Once again, the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad will turn into one of Europe’s most unique festival sites, welcoming a lineup that features Sex Pistols, who’ll be joined by Frank Carter, Tiësto, Eric Prydz, Hurts, Indira Paganotto b2b Sara Landry, and many more.
EXIT 2025 will shine a spotlight on one of the most pivotal moments in music history: the Live Aid concert that changed the world 40 years ago. In celebration of this milestone, legendary musician and activist Bob Geldof, frontman of The Boomtown Rats, and one of the driving forces behind Live Aid, will take the stage on the last day of EXIT 2025.

Chappell Roan, Charli XCX & Nelly Furtado at Sziget
Another mega festival in Europe’s East, Sziget, has unveiled the first names for 2025, when the festival returns to the Island of Freedom in Budapest, Hungary, Aug. 6-11.
Anyma, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Justice, Armin van Buuren, Boris Brejcha, Papa Roach, Blossoms, Nelly Furtado, The Blessed Madonna are leading the first wave of acts.
Festival promoter Tamás Kádár, a 2024 Pollstar/VenuesNow Impact International Honoree, told Pollstar, “We are currently working on the experience, content and brand renewal of Sziget, and the 2025 event will be the first step in this three-year process. We’re working on new venues, new designs, new content, which is always very exciting.”
Electric Castle
Remaining East, Electric Castle returns to Banffy Castle in Transylvania, Romania, July 16-20, for its 11th edition.
The first wave of artists is led by Justin Timberlake, Queens of the Stone Age, Justice, and Bicep present Chroma AV DJ Set. Heavier acts like Refused, Leprous, or The Amazons feature on the bill, as do dance acts like Netsky b2b NGHTMRE, Hot Since 82, and Sofi Tukker.

Olivia Rodrigo At Roskilde
Olivia Rodrigo will headline Roskilde in Denmark next year, when the festival returns to the eponymous Danish city, June 28 – July 5, 2025.
Rodrigo leads a list of 25 names recently announced, which also includes Deftones, Jamie xx, A. G. Cook, Anoushka Shankar, and HorsegiirL.
Werchter Lineups
Olivia Rodrigo is also one of the headliners of Rock Werchter, which returns to Werchter’s Festivalpark July 3-6. She’s joined by Linkin Park, Green Day, Sam Fender, Deftones, Fontaines D.C., Jacob Collier, Girl In Red, Simple Minds, Wet Leg, Raye, Noah Kahan, and many more.
TW Classic, which takes over the Festival park the weekend prior to Rock Werchter, has also unveiled its full lineup for Saturday, June 28: Robbie Williams, Bryan Adams, Texas, Skunk Anansie, Lottery Winners, and Portland.
TW Classic is a one-day festival based on a format that was common in Werchter until 1994, according to promoter Live Nation Belgium: a beautiful summer’s day, a festival site with one stage, a wonderful, exuberant audience, and a select group of artists with an impressive pedigree. Artists who’ve performed at TW Classic in the past include The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, The Police, Lenny Kravitz, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Bon Jovi, Sting, Phil Collins, Elton John,, Editors, Depeche Mode, Black Eyed Peas, Kraftwerk, and Guns N’ Roses.
Big Rock Am Ring/Rock Im Park Anniversaries
Germany twin-festivals Rock am Ring and Rock im Park are celebrating milestones next year, June 6-8- 2025: Rock am Ring at Germany’s famous race course Nürburgring turns 40, while Rock im Park in Nürnberg turns 30
The lineup performing at both events across the weekend is led by last week’s Pollstar cover stars Bring Me The Horizon, who’ll headline the festival’s main stage for the first time – having closed out Rock am Ring’s second stage in 2023.
Slipknot, Korn, The Prodigy, Bullet For My Valentine, Rise Against, Sleep Token, Falling in Reverse, K.I.Z., Spiritbox, Biffy Clyro, Weezer, and more will join the bill.
Promoters DreamHaus, FKP Scorpio, and eventimpresents have already sold more than 80,000 weekend tickets for Rock am Ring, as well as 60,000 for Rock im Park.
Airbeat One
Also in Germany, Airbeat One, one of Europe’s biggest EDM events, returns to the airfield in Neustadt-Glewe, July 9-13. The entire festival site will be transformed into a small Spanish town, seeing that the theme of Airbeat One 2025 is Spain.
The first wave of confirmed artists includes Armin van Buuren, Amelie Lens, Angerfist, Boris Brejcha, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Danny Avila, Hardwell, Klangkuenstler, Lilly Palmer, Neelix, Paul van Dyk, and Timmy Trumpet, among others.

Robbie Williams & Kings of Leon At Come Together Premiere
TEG Europe is launching a new UK festival at Newcastle’s Town Moor next year, June 4-8. It is called Come Together, and the first two confirmed headliners are Robbie Williams and Kings Of Leon, who will open and close the festival, respectively.

Kraftwerk At Forever Now Premiere
The first edition of Forever Now, a new one-day festival at the legendary National Bowl is scheduled to go down in Milton Keynes, England June 22, 2025, promoted by AEG Presents.
Described as “a true celebration of alternative culture, the event will explore the cultural phenomenon of the dark side of creativity, featuring many of the greatest pioneers of new wave, post-punk, psychedelia and alternative rock.”
Forever Now is the UK sister event of the critically acclaimed U.S. festival Cruel World, which launched in 2020, and is produced and promoted by Goldenvoice in Pasadena, California.
The confirmed lineup includes Kraftwerk, Billy Idol, The The, Death Cult, Johnny Marr, The Psychedelic Furs, and The Jesus & Mary Chain.

Boomtown, which returns to Winchester’s Matterley Bowl, Aug. 6-10, has unveiled the first wave of its traditionally eclectic lineup. It features Maribou State, Sean Paul, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, Hybrid Minds, Nia Archives, Azealia Banks, Rudim3ntal, Honey Dijon and many more.
More than 600 artists from every genre imaginable will join the final bill of Boomtown’s 16th edition.

Kendal Calling’s 20th Anniversary
Kendal Calling is preparing its 20th edition in Lowther Deer Park in the UK’s beautiful Lake District, July 31-Aug. 3, 2025.
The Kendal Calling 2025 line up is already stacked with great acts, including Courteeners, Fatboy Slim, The Prodigy, and Kaiser Chiefs. Joining them are The Last Dinner Party, Travis, The Wombats, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Jason Manford, The K’s, Skindred, Corinne Bailey Rae, The Lottery Winners, Maximo Park, Scouting For Girls, Tim Burgess, and more.

Boardmasters, the surf and music festival in Cornwall, England, announced a massive lineup for its 2025 edition, Aug. 6-10, led by headliners Raye and The Prodigy. The bill also features London Grammar, Maribou State, Wet Leg, Nelly Furtado, Kaiser Chiefs, Rizzle Kicks, Natasha Bedingfield, Bou, Bru-C, and many more.
Truck
The Prodigy are also going to headline Truck Festival, scheduled to go down July 31–Aug. 3 in Pikehall, Derbyshire, England. Latitude
Latitude Festival returns to Henham Park, Suffolk, July 24-27, with a lineup that features Sting, Snow Patrol, Fatboy Slim, Basement Jaxx, Elbow, Maribou State, Clean Bandit, Sigrid, Public Service Broadcasting, and more.
As usual, comedy, dance, poetry, podcasts, cultural visionaries, and performance artists, feature heavily in Latitude’s Program.
