AEG Presents Promotes Evan Marks To Talent Buyer, Rocky Mountains

AEG Presents has announced that Evan Marks has been promoted to Talent Buyer in the promoter’s Rocky Mountains region.

Marks’ previous title was as talent buyer assistant. He now joins the team in booking shows at several key clubs and theaters in the region, including Mission Ballroom, Ogden Theatre, Bluebird Theatre and non-exclusive venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Marks will be based in the AEG Presents Denver office, reporting to president of the Rocky Mountains and Pacific Northwest region, Don Strasburg.

“After working in this business locally for over a decade, I am especially grateful to continue serving the Colorado music community by bringing them more extraordinary concert experiences for a long time to come,” Marks said in the announcement, “I am very fortunate to be able to work for and learn from Don alongside the rest of the AEG Presents Rocky Mountains team, who I consider to be the absolute best in class at what they do.”

Strasburg added, “Evan’s devotion and passion for live music enhances the tremendous team at AEG Presents in the Rocky Mountains region. Evan’s wide berth of musical knowledge and ability to execute will meet and exceed the lofty expectations of our music community.”

Originally from Houston, in 2017, Marks began working as a talent buyer at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom. In 2022, Evan started at AEG Presents Rocky Mountains.
