WME’s Kevin Shivers, James Rubin & Cristina Baxter Join Wasserman Music Leadership Team
Wasserman Music announced industry executives Kevin Shivers, James Rubin and Cristina Baxter are all joining the agency’s Executive Leadership Team, marking the company’s biggest expansion since it launched in 2021. Shivers, Rubin and Baxter all joined from WME, where Shivers and Rubin were Senior Partners in the music division and co-directors of the Hip-Hop/R&B team, while Baxter was Senior Vice President, a Partner in the music division and co-director of its Pop and Rock teams.
“Kevin, James and Cristina are highly respected leaders in the industry who exemplify the values on which our company is built,” Casey Wasserman, Chairman and CEO of Wasserman, said in a statement. “We’re thrilled to have them join Team Wass during this exciting period of growth for our global music division.”

Shivers represented talent including Tyler, the Creator, Kali Uchis, Snoop Dogg, Lil Baby, Kid Cudi, Summer Walker and more. He’s landed on Pollstar’s Impact 50 list and remains a major player in the industry. On joining Wasserman Music, Shivers said, “Wasserman Music is creating an agency for the future – one focused equally on nurturing both the talent they represent and the talent they hire. I look forward to helping further Wasserman’s mission of championing artists like no other.”
Rubin represented Travis Scott, Tyler, The Creator, Solange, Bryson Tiller, Wiz Khalifa and more. “I’m thrilled to join the very best team in our industry, bar none,” Rubin said in a statement. “With Wasserman’s unmatched resources and services, I look forward to helping my clients’ business grow exponentially.”
Baxter landed on Pollstar’s Women of Live list, and represented André 3000, Kygo, Carly Rae Jepsen, SOFI TUKKER, Kali Uchis and more. “Wasserman Music has built more than just an agency,” she said in a statement. “It’s a new kind of artist representation company that is innovative, unwaveringly client-focused, and designed to expand opportunities for people of all backgrounds in our industry.”
A spokesperson for the agency says they expect the majority of clients will also make the transition.
