Beyoncé, Nine Inch Nails Delay Announcements Due To LA Wildfires

Anticipated announcements from Beyoncé and Nine Inch Nails are on hold due to the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles.
Moments after Beyoncé completed her halftime performance at the Christmas Day NFL game in Houston between her hometown, homestanding Texans and the Baltimore Ravens, during which she performed songs from Cowboy Carter for the first time, she posted a short video that included the date “1.14.25” on Instagram, prompting widespread speculation about what Jan. 14 could bring. Early on the morning of Jan. 14, however, Beyoncé, whose family foundation has donated more than $2.5 million to wildfire relief, said the reveal would have to wait.
“The January 14th announcement will be postponed to a later date due to the devastation caused by the ongoing wildfires around areas of Los Angeles,” the singer posted on Instagram. “I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss. We are so blessed to have brave first responders who continue to work tirelessly to protect the Los Angeles community.”
Similarly, speculation has swirled that industrial rock legends Nine Inch Nails would announce their first tour since 2022. The Trent Reznor-fronted band confirmed that speculation Jan. 14, but said details won’t be revealed as planned.
“Since some dates and information about our world tour have leaked we are confirming that yes we will be touring and provide more details soon,” the band wrote on Instagram. “We are all watching the devastation that is unfolding in California and have paused our announcement while people try to deal with all that is happening.”
