j-hope Unveils Dates For North American Solo Tour

j-hope is making his way back to North America this year. The South Korean rapper, music producer, dancer and member of mega-popular boy band BTS announced “Hope On The Stage,” a solo tour that includes dates in Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City and Los Angeles.

The 12-date Live Nation-promoted tour kicks off on March 13 with two consecutive nights at Barclays Arena in Brooklyn, New York, followed by two shows at Chicago’s Allstate Arena. j-hope will then make his way to Mexico City’s Palacio De Los Deportes, Frost Bank Center in San Antonio and Oakland Arena in Northern California before wrapping up with two nights (April 4 and 6) at LA’s BMO Stadium.

Fans who are part of the Army Membership, BTS’s official fan club, will have access to a presale beginning Jan. 22 at 3 p.m. local time. Fans can register for Army Membership now through Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. ET via Weverse to have their membership certified. The general onsale begins Jan. 23 at 3 p.m. local time at LiveNation.com. Ticketing information for the shows in Los Angeles will be released at a later date due to the ongoing wildfires.

j-hope made his U.S. festival debut at Lollapalooza in 2022 and became the first BTS member to enter the Billboard Hot 100 as a solo artist with “Chicken Noodle Soup,” which featured Becky G. The artist, who is known as the lead dancer of BTS, released his latest EP, HOPE ON THE STREET, VOL. 1, last March via Big Hit Music and features collaborations with Jungkook of BTS, Benny Blanco, Nile Rodgers and Huh Yunjin of K-pop girl group Le Sserafim.

BTS, which has been on hiatus since 2022, is one of the most successful K-pop acts. The seven-member group performed four sold-out shows at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, and grossed a total of $33.3 million off 213,752 tickets sold, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
