Clouseau, one of the most iconic Flemish rock groups, celebrated the last of a series of 40-year anniversary concerts at Antwerp’s Sportpaleis on Jan. 19.

Across a total of 14 concerts at Belgium’s largest indoor arena between Dec. 20, 2024, and Jan. 19, the group around brothers Koen and Kris Wauters performed in front of 238,000 fans – promoted and produced by independent promoter and booking agency Greenhouse Talent, in close collaboration with a selection of top suppliers.

Clouseau around the iconic duo Koen and Kris Wauters has enjoyed continuous popularity in the Belgian and Dutch music scene for the past four decades. The group broke through with their 1989 hit “Anne,” which stormed the Belgian charts and marked the beginning of their long-term success.

Clouseau is known “for their charisma, compelling ballads, catchy pop songs and emotional stories, often with themes around love, relationships and personal experiences,” according to a press release from Greenhouse Talent sent after the final show at the Sportspaleis wrapped.

“In the early years,” it continues, “young fans idolized the band to such an extent that concerts regularly got out of hand. Comparisons were soon drawn with Beatlemania in the 1960s. The band’s body of work encompasses many notable moments in pop music, has made its mark on the Dutch language itself, and also left an indelible stamp on Flemish pop culture.”

To sustain a 40-year career, any band requires reliable partners in production, which Clouseau found in Greenhouse Talent. The independent promoter and booking agency produced the entire series of 14 shows in-house “together with a few top suppliers from the Benelux,” according to the press release.

120 crew members working on the production, 30 trucks worth of production equipment, resulting in three hours of top-notch entertainment provided by Clouseau.

“Every element was created and executed with an eye for detail, immersing the audience in a stunning and unforgettable concert experience which blended music and fantastic visuals to create an extraordinary spectacle! Fourteen times in a row, we welcomed 17,000 visitors to the venue, none of whom could help but sing along, offer a tsunami of great reactions, and provide rave reviews in the press. In short, Greenhouse Talent can look back on an incredibly successful series of concerts that will resonate with audiences, crew and artists alike for a very long time,” the company concluded.
