Lynyrd Skynyrd have created more than 50 years of rock music history, and this year marks a celebration of this incredible accomplishment.

Rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd are embarking on an anniversary tour celebrating more than half a century since the release of their debut album (Pronounced ‘Lĕh-‘nérd ‘Skin-‘nérd) in 1973.

The upcoming arena tour includes Lynyrd Skynyrd’s first UK dates since 2019. They kick off July 15 at Manchester’s AO Arena, and visit Utilita Arena Birmingham, The Brighton Centre, and close at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on July 19.

£1 from every ticket sold on the UK dates will be donated to the newly launched Live Trust, a new funding initiative from LIVE that will offer much needed financial support to those working across live music. The Live Trust will initially support the grassroots music sector that is such a vital part of the music ecosystem – from venues and artists to festivals and promoters.

Joining as special guests on all four UK dates are Blackberry Smoke. “This UK tour promises to be a celebration of Skynyrd’s rich heritage and enduring appeal,” according to promoter AEG Presents, “fans can expect an unforgettable evening filled with classic hits, powerful performances, and a shared passion for the music that has defined a lifestyle for millions.”
