CAA has signed Samara Joy, the 25-year-old acclaimed jazz singer/songwriter who was named Best New Artist at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

That year she also won the Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album for her sophomore LP, Linger Awhile, and in 2024 she picked up the Grammy for Best Jazz Performance for the song “Tight.” This weekend she’s vying for two more Grammys: Best Jazz Vocal Album for A Joyful Holiday and Best Jazz Performance for “Twinkle Twinkle Little Me” (with Sullivan Fortner).

Joy, who puts her own spin on heritage jazz with a blend of R&B, is also up for Outstanding Jazz Album at the NAACP Image Awards for her latest album, Portrait, which was released in October on Verve. An announcement from CAA notes that Portrait “represents the next phase in her continuing artistic evolution – thoroughly in control of her songs and sound, and unbound by expectations.”

Her other accolades include being named to the 2025 Forbes 30 under 30 list.

Joy’s upcoming tour dates include a Feb. 7 show at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and an April 30 performance at Carnegie Hall’s Isaac Stern Auditorium in New York.

Reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice for Joy include a Dec. 22, 2024, show at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta that sold 3,008 tickets and grossed $194,369.

Joy is managed by Alex Kadvan, Megan Frestedt and Scott Stefanik at Red Light Management.
