OCSE Now Managing Grove Of Anaheim

Operating as Grove of Anaheim LLC, OC Sports and Entertainment on Jan. 1 took over management of the popular 1,700-capacity The Grove of Anaheim, with a sold-out show by Jack White marking the beginning of a new era for the music venue.
“This is an exciting new chapter for The Grove of Anaheim,” said OCSE Chief Venue Officer Kevin Starkey, who has led venue management for all OCSE properties since 1993, including the Honda Center arena in Anaheim. “Our focus is on operational excellence, ensuring every detail—from the moment an artist steps on stage to the moment a guest arrives onsite—is seamless. The Grove holds a special place in Anaheim’s history, and we are dedicated to honoring that legacy while bringing the same high standards and expertise that define all of our venues.” Last fall, the city of Anaheim awarded the management contracted to OCSE.
OCSE’s experience in the region extends to the new OCVIBE development, ARTIC and the Anaheim Ducks, which it says is uniquely positioned to elevate the live entertainment experience at The Grove while preserving its legacy.
Supporting Starkey’s leadership role are Leonora Hill (director of operations and guest experience), Tom Alexander (vice president of programming), Bill Dwight (senior director of programming), Katie Pederson (vice president of special events) and Makenna Song (director of special events).
“We are excited to usher in a new era of entertainment at The Grove, celebrating Orange County’s diverse community and rich cultural history,” said Tom Alexander. “This venue has a deep legacy of hosting iconic performances, and we’re committed to building on that tradition by bringing a fresh variety of events to the stage. With an open and inclusive approach, we welcome all agents and promoters to collaborate with us as we create unforgettable experiences for audiences in Orange County.”
The venue was previously operated by Nederlander Concerts, which will continue to book concerts at the venue, according to a representative.
