Joseph Santiago Named GM Of Stranahan Theater & Great Hall In Toledo

Industry veteran Joseph Santiago has been named general manager of Stranahan Theater and Great Hall in Toledo, Ohio, which is managed by ASM Global.
As GM, Santiago will oversee day-to-day operations, including the management, promotion and operation of the facility, which opened in 1969 and boasts the largest proscenium stage in Northwest Ohio. The 2,368-seat theater presents upwards of 170 performances each year including Broadway, comedy and concerts. The adjoining 10,000-square-foot Great Hall hosts more than 140 banquets, receptions and trade shows per year.
A 20-year industry veteran, Santiago began his career in Las Vegas at the Thomas & Mack Center. He followed that with stints at several well-known venues including serving as vice president for Station Casinos and vice president of entertainment for MGM Mirage in Las Vegas. Most recently, he was general manager of Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg, Florida.
“This venue has a lot of great history, a great foundation to build upon; and I am very excited to be a part of this team,” stated Santiago in a release.
