The agreement, signed by Pino Sagliocco, president of Live Nation Spain, and Carlos Núñez, executive president of PRISA Media, focuses on combining the strengths of both companies to maximize the reach of their joint activities through experiences, events, content, and other synergies to explore new business opportunities.
Through this collaboration agreement, Live Nation will have a presence in PRISA Media’s multi-platform music channels, including its most recognized brands such as LOS40, LOS40 CLASSIC, LOS40 URBAN, LOS40 DANCE, or CADENA DIAL, as well as advertising spaces in outlets such as Cadena SER, EL PAÍS, AS, or El HuffPost to promote artists and events.
PRISA Media will be able to participate as the main media partner in the selection of Live Nation’s catalog of events and artists in Spain, both established and emerging, combining the expertise of both companies in the production and promotion of major live shows, concerts, and national and international festivals to achieve maximum profitability.
According to the press announcement, “Live Nation will also provide access to artist and event materials, enriching PRISA Media’s content offering, which is already positioned as a leader in music radio in Spain and Latin America.
Pino Sagliocco, president of Live Nation Spain, commented, “Music has the power to unite, harmonize differences, and forge lasting relationships. This strategic agreement with PRISA Media will allow us to amplify the reach of the music of the artists who entrust their tours to Live Nation, connecting them with broader and more diverse audiences. We are excited to join efforts in this mission.”
Carlos Núñez, executive president of PRISA Media, added, “Music is one of the main attributes of our brands, and this agreement with Live Nation, a benchmark in live event entertainment, will help PRISA Media strengthen its already well-established content in this sector and open new windows of opportunity for the music industry business.”
