Reggae Star Buju Banton Signs With IAG For Agency Representation (Exclusive)

International reggae icon Buju Banton has signed with Independent Artist Group in all areas, according to an announcement from the agency.
One of the most famous reggae musicians of all time and considered an ambassador of the Jamaican “dancehall” sound, Buju Banton retired to touring in the U.S. last summer, with two sold-out performances at UBS Arena in New York, grossing a combined $4.5 million. Other shows reported to Pollstar last summer included State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. and others.
The announcement says that with the signing, Banton’s career is poised to further elevate, with new opportunities for creative exploration and global reach.
Banton is represented by Jeremy Holgerson and IAG head of music Jarred Arfa, while the agency’s Sia Aghiaepour serves as consultant.
