Brooklyn Rapper Talib Kweli Signs With Universal Attractions Agency Ahead Of North America/Europe Tour

Talib Kweli signs with Universal Attractions Agency for worldwide representation as the Brooklyn rapper readies for his tour of North America and Europe, which kicks off Thursday in Reykjavik Iceland. and culminates in June 21 with a performance at Kings Theater in his hometown of Brooklyn, New York.

Kweli rose to prominence in 1998 as one half of the duo Black Star, releasing the critically acclaimed album Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star, featuring popular tracks “Definition” and “Respiration.” Kweli’s musical career continued with solo success including collaborations with producers and rappers Kanye West, Just Blaze and Pharrell Williams. In 2011 he founded his own record label Javotti Media.

UAA’s president Jeff Epstein and Ben Sauberman will act as responsible agents. Donna Dragotta at Javotti Media is Kweli’s manager. Tickets for the tour are on sale now.
