Billy Joel’s New York state of mind, deep history and incredible live shows have long established him as the indisputable Performance King of NYC. This culminated with his historic, out-of-the box residency at Madison Square Garden, which ran monthly for 10 years and concluded last July 25 with a record-setting lifetime 150 shows Now, with three tristate stadium plays set for July and August at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, CitiField in Queens and MetLife in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Joel’s live career continues making history.

This is the ultimate stadium triple play with Billy Joel playing Yankee Stadium with Rod Stewart on July 18, Giant Stadium with Stevie Nicks on August 8 and it was just announced Billy playing with Sting on August 21 at Citi field.

Joel is playing all three stadiums and it’s the first time an artist has ever played the old Yankee stadium and the new Yankee Stadium. It’s also his first time returning to the site of (2008’s) “Last Play at Shea,” playing at Citi Field and his first time returning to New Jersey in many years. Joel is co-headlining all the major stadiums in the tri-state area with some of rock’s greatest royalty in Rod Stewart, Stevie Nicks and Sting.

Joel’s historic Madison Square Garden run saw him play before nearly 2 million fans and perform with a slew of special guests, including everyone from Bruce Springsteen, Tony Bennett, John Fogerty, Paul Simon to Miley Cyrus and Olivia Rodrigo.
