The Event and Venue Marketing Conferences (EVMC) celebrates the 10th anniversary of the EVMC Awards, with an evening ceremony to recognize the most innovative and strategic marketing professionals in the live entertainment industry.
On June 5, for the first time, a special evening edition of the awards will spotlight the most groundbreaking ideas and professionals in live entertainment marketing at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. Following the ceremony, attendees will have the opportunity to tour this historic 1929 landmark and celebrate the winners.
“The iconic Fox Theatre in Atlanta was the ideal setting for our 10th anniversary evening awards ceremony, a vision we’d always held,” said Kim Allen, President of EVMC and Golden 1 Center & Sacramento Kings, Director.
Two new award categories are being introduced to the EVMC list of honors that reflect the evolving nature of live event marketing with Grass Roots Campaign of the Year and Social Media Content Series/Campaign of the Year. The planning committee decided to create the new awards to reflect the changing marketing landscape and include venues of all sizes, budgets and markets.
Award staples include: Marketing & Publicity Campaign of The Year, Most Creative Artist Welcome, Most Creative Artist Gift (under $500), Most Creative Artist Gift ($500+), Breakthrough Professional of the Year, Impact Award, Hall of Fame and the Gigi Award, which was named for one of the event founders Gigi Pilhofer in 1999 to honor former or current marketing professionals who have made an impact on professional development and education within the industry as well as substantial involvement in the conference.
2025 EVMC Awards submissions are now open. Submissions must fall between Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2024. The deadline for submissions is March 28, 2025.
In addition to the awards presentation, the 2025 conference features a range of content across multiple tracks including marketing, merchandising, digital marketing, public relations, sales, social media, DEI and wellness. Session highlights include Amplifying Event Marketing with AI, Data-Driven Success: Using Ticketing Insights to Power Marketing Plans and Brand Goals and The Art of the Brand: Crafting Unique Identities Across Events and Venues.
