Paul McCartney Adds Third & Final Bowery Ballroom Underplay

After turning New York City upside down two nights in a row, Paul McCartney announced he’ll be returning to the 575-capacity Bowery Ballroom in the Lower East Side on Friday, Feb. 14. Once again, tickets can only be purchased at the Bowery Ballroom box office, first come, first served.
Tickets are only available in physical form, with one ticket available per person.
When asked how the Paul McCartney shows came together, Michael Swier, LLC Manager of Bowery Ballroom, Mercury Lounge and Teragram Ballroom, would only say, “Serendipity.” When asked for further comment he added, “The shows were sublime, they left me speechless; I can now say if I died today, I’d die in peace.”
The first night’s setlist included Fab Four classics like “Hard Days Night,” “From Me to You,” “Now and Then,” “Hey Jude,” “Get Back,” “Got to Get You Into My Life,” “Letting Go” and more. For fans hoping to live the experience online, tough luck: all phones and recording devices were banned inside the venue. Night two featured “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Flaming Pie,” “Lady Madonna,” “Carry That Weight,” “The End” and more.
As each show was announced, chaos overcame Manhattan as fans threw themselves in Ubers, Lyfts and scooters to rush towards Bowery Ballroom in hopes of snagging a ticket. Within 30 minutes of each show’s announcement, tickets were entirely sold out.
McCartney has performed hits across his catalog – including Beatles’ classics “Hey Jude” and “Let It Be.” McCartney admitted onstage the first night that he and his band, made up of guitarist Rusty Anderson, guitarist-bassist Brian Ray, keyboardist Paul “Wix” Wickens and drummer Abe Laboriel Jr., who toured with McCartney on his recently-wrapped “Got Back Tour,” only had one night of rehearsal before diving into their first show on Feb. 11.
Doors for Friday’s show open at 5 p.m. ET, with the show starting at 6:30 p.m.
