After opening “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” by performing “Homeward Bound” as a duet with Sabrina Carpenter, Paul Simon has announced North American dates for “A Quiet Celebration Tour.”

The setlist for the spring/summer run will include the live debut performance of Simon’s Grammy-nominated 2023 acoustic album, Seven Psalms, along with a selection of his beloved hits.

Today’s announcement notes that during the recording of Seven Psalms Simon “began to steadily lose the hearing in his left ear which initially made extended live performances impossible. Together with the Stanford Initiative to Cure Hearing Loss, and his own production team, Simon redesigned his entire stage set up to make performing viable. This included moving monitors to surround him as recently discussed on CBS Mornings.”

The upcoming tour will feature intimate venues where the acoustics are optimal in consideration of Simon’s hearing loss. The trek starts with two nights at New Orleans’ Saenger Theater April 4-5.

Stops include Austin, Texas’ Bass Concert Hall; Denver’s Paramount Theatre; Minneapolis’ Orpheum Theatre; St. Louis’ Stifel Theatre; Nashville, Tennessee’s Ryman Auditorium; New York’s Beacon Theater; Los Angeles’ Disney Hall; Vancouver, British Columbia’s The Orpheum and more.

Simon is represented by CAA’s Brian Greenbaum in North America. He is managed by OK Management.

Tickets for the new dates go on sale Friday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. local time. Check out the routing below.
